Fidel, unfortunately, missed submitting contract years for the second consecutive year. He had signed a pretty solid team at last year's Auction Draft. It became the highest scoring team thanks in large part to his $1 Chicago Bears Defense getting Khalil Mack.

Fidel, unfortunately, missed submitting contract years for the second consecutive year.  He had signed a pretty solid team at last year's Auction Draft.  It became the highest scoring team thanks in large part to his $1 Chicago Bears Defense getting Khalil Mack.  But all those players defaulted to one-year contracts and will be UFAs available in this year's auction draft unless he uses one of three tags available to each owner.

Fidel can use one each of the Exclusive Franchise Tag, Non-Exclusive Franchise Tag, and the Transition Tag.  Teams automatically sign their Exclusive Franchise Tag players since EFT players are not up for bids to other teams.

The players/contracts below are only those signed in the 2018 Auction Draft.  Teams can still tag any free agent signed via FAAB during the season.  It cannot use the Exclusive Franchise Tag on such players.

Antonio Brown's Franchise number is $54, as it is for all WRs.  However, with his $42 salary, his Transition number is $51 -- not $47.

Bidding on Franchise & Transition Tagged Players

Note that the draft picks that will be forfeited by a team is its 2019 draft picks.  So if Melvin, as an example, wins bids on a Franchise-tagged Davante Adams, and Fidel declines to match, then Melvin will forfeit his 2019 First Round pick -- KYLER MURRAY.  Pause the Rookie Draft and get Franchise/Transition Tag process done before proceeding?  Fidel will be leaving for the Philippines Aug. 8.  Let's get this done.
