2019 FRANCHISE & TRANSITION TAGS

NYOFACEFOOTBALL teams can use one each of the Exclusive Franchise Tag, Non-Exclusive Franchise Tag, and the Transition Tag.

NYOFACE Football teams can use one each of the following:

• EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE TAGS - EFT
• In our original league, In-Season Free Agent Pickups automatically became Unrestricted Free Agents (UFA) and were available in the Auction Draft.  If everyone is in agreement, the league will allow teams to tag In-Season Free Agent Pickups, but only with the Non-Exclusive Franchise Tag or the Transition Tag.  That allows other teams to bid on these players.
• Teams automatically sign their Exclusive Franchise Tag players.
• NON-EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE TAGS - NEFT
• The league will put up one Non-Exclusive Franchise Tag player at a time since there will be a compensation of ONE First Round Rookie Pick. (Previously, we compensated with TWO First Round Picks).  The order will be by descending order of players' salaries from the previous year.  The league will publish the list and the order. 
• TRANSITION TAGS - TT
• Once the Franchise Tag players have been processed, the same process will be carried out for the Transition Tag players.  Compensation will be one Second Round Pick.  (Previously, we compensated with one First Round Pick).

Bids for Zach Ertz are due by Thur 8/27 1 PM PST.

AUG18 UPDATE: UPDATED LIST OF TAGS

ZACH ERTZ, the only NEFT (Non-Exclusive Franchise Tag) TE will be the first one up for bids. Christian McCaffrey will be up before Le'Veon Bell due to more fantasy points last season.

AUG27 UPDATE: SET SCHEDULE

Deadlines set.  Bids for TE Zach Ertz are due by THURSDAY 8/29 1 PM PST.  As in 2018, the owner team with the tagged player has until 8 PM PST to match the bid.  If the team misses the 8 PM PST deadline or declines to match, the team will receive the winning team's highest First Round Rookie Pick in the 2019 Rookie Draft.  The next Franchise Tag player will be up for bid with a deadline of 1 PM PST the next day.
