Melvin Persevereranda Selects First in the 2019 Rookie Draft

NYOFACE Dynasty Football League will have a two-round Rookie Draft.  The order was determined by last year's Playoffs.  Each team/owner will have 24 hours to make a selection once the previous team has made its selection (as per 2018 Rookie Draft).

• Each rookie draft pick will have a $1 salary counted against the Salary Cap.
• Each team's Salary Cap will increase by $2 to to accommodate the rookie picks.  For 2019, the Salary Cap is $204.
• Each team's roster will expand by two players to accommodate the rookie picks.
• Each rookie draft pick will have a 4-year contract, similar to the Practice Squad we used to have when we used Sportsline.
• If an owner does not make a rookie selection within the allotted 24 hours, the league commissioner will choose the next available rookie from the actual NFL Draft starting from the first pick.
• Teams announce rookie picks via Blogger posts.

Melvin won the 2018 TOILET BOWL, beating Manny 142.84 to 122.89.  Melvin then has the first overall pick in 2019, and Manny has the second pick.  The Toilet Bowl Playoffs results give us the first six picks of the draft order.

Jon won the 2018 championship in a close match, beating Vince 127.88 to 123.49.  Jon then has the 12th pick and Vince has the 11th pick in the Rookie Draft.  The playoff results give us the bottom half of the order:

9.  Clemente Torres
10. Fidel Berdan
11. Vince Putong
12. Jon Legaspi

Melvin can make his rookie selection anytime.  Owners make their teams' selections by posting to this blog (just like last year).

The league always allotted 24 hours for each first round pick in previous drafts.  With Manny currently in the Philippines and communications being hit-and-miss, we'll pause at his pick.  Once Manny makes his selection, the 24-hour clock for each pick will resume.
