AUCTION DRAFT DAY: AUGUST 12 SUNDAY 4 PM

2018 Auction Draft Day is scheduled for Sunday, August 12 4pm PST. We will be using the Yahoo Auction Draft Room.

UPDATE YOUR PREDRAFT PLAYER VALUES IN YAHOO IN CASE YOU MISS PART OR ALL OF AD

The season is set to begin on September 6, 2018 with the NFL Kickoff Game, to be hosted by the defending Super Bowl LII champion Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Atlanta Falcons at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Here's the list of UNAVAILABLE DATES for some owners:

• August 18-19 weekend;
• August 26, Sunday;

Weekday was suggested.  Per Tex in Minnesota: Depends on the weeknight.  I can do a weeknight after 6 CST in August except for Aug 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 23, 28 and 30.

7/20 UPDATE: AUCTION DRAFT DAY WILL BE AUGUST 12

NYOFACEFOOTBALL will hold Auction Draft Day on Sunday August 12.  If an owner cannot make that day, or has to miss part of the draft, then that owner can EDIT PRE DRAFT PLAYER VALUES.  Alyssa's team's 2017 Auction Draft was basically handled by the Yahoo Auction Draft Room's program using the DEFAULT Pre Draft Player Values.  (See 2017 Auction Draft Results).

Speaking of the 2017 Auction Draft, kudos go to Melvin (for signing Alvin Kamara at #162 for $2) and Manny (for signing Jimmy Garoppolo right after Kamara at #163 for $1)!  WOW.  In the same token, NYOFACEFOOTBALL thanks you two for cutting them and letting the rest of the owners have a shot at them in the 2018 offseason.  😂

7/21 Update: AUCTION DRAFT SETTINGS

For our initial Auction Draft last year, I chose the following to speed up the draft as much as possible:

• NOMINATION TIME LIMIT - 30 seconds (Options: 30sec, 45sec, 60sec);
• BID TIME LIMIT - 10 seconds (Options: 10sec, 20sec, 30sec).

If we use the same settings, Yahoo is giving an estimate of 2 hrs 12 min for the auction draft.

Tex is available at 4pm PST (6pm CST).  If we start early, we have the option of increasing the BID TIME LIMIT to 20 seconds to allow more time in deciding whether to pass or bid, especially when you're in the final two.  Yahoo gives an estimate of 2 hrs 45 min if we increase the BID TIME LIMIT to 20 seconds.
