A Player Signed For $40 Or More in the Auction Draft Shall Have a No-Trade Clause
As most of you NFL diehard fans know, most top players have a "No-Trade Clause" in their contracts to protect the player. In our case, the clause is intended to protect the league and the team (from its rookie owner with the itchy trade finger).
Upon rejoining NYOFACE, an OG owner texted me:

"I propose no trades when they know they are out of the playoffs or dumping star players."Veteran fantasy football managers have all gone through that. I suggested in 2015 that we could do No-Trade clauses starting at $30 players. With the bump to $200 salary caps, I bumped it to $40. Good starting point? We can modify the rule after the season with a 2/3 majority vote.
$20 Trade Fees Per Team
Of course, we still want trade activity. A few of us love the wheeling-and-dealing. But you have to pay to play. No matter how many players are involved in a trade, the Trade Fee will be $20 per team. The fee will be payable to the League Office (me). The trade is not valid until the league office receives the fees from owners involved in the trade.
We decreased our franchise fees from $100 in 2011 to $50 this year. If you make two trades this year, you're still ahead of the 2011 fees.
Or do you guys want to make it $25 per trade per team?

What do we do with the trade fees collected?
My first thought is a custom NFL jersey for the champion. The cost is $149.99 plus $5.99 shipping. Owners can split the difference that the trade fees don't cover.
If there's an overage, then the league office can have free halo-halo. 😁 JK. It'll carry over to help pay for the next year's championship jersey.
We can have "NYOFACE" for the name in the back. I wanted to add the championship year, as in NYOFACE17, but it won't accept numbers in the name.
